Important Beach Update

The county is currently conducting a beach renourishment project along portions of the shoreline that is expected to affect stays up until May, with possible minor extension into May due to weather delays. As crews move section by section, temporary equipment and sand pumping operations may be visible near this property. The work is temporary and helps strengthen and protect the beach and dunes, and nearby beach access is generally available around active work zones.

Lovely direct oceanfront 2 bedroom 2 bath corner unit.  Breathtaking views of the beach and within walking distance to shopping and dining.  Enjoy the views from the oceanfront living room featuring a flat-screen TV, VCR, DVD player, and sofa sleeper.  Ocean view dining room with seating for 6; with additional seating at the kitchen counter for 2.  Cook meals with a view of the ocean from the fully equipped kitchen.  

Wake up every morning and watch the dolphins play from the oceanfront master bedroom featuring a king-size bed, TV, sliders to the oceanfront balcony, and access to the updated, private master bath with a walk-in shower.  The 2nd bedroom features 1 twin and 1 full-sized bed. The 2nd bath features a tub/shower.  

Free WiFi, cable TV, and all linens are supplied.  Unit washer/dryer available for use for winter guests only(Jan-March).  Coin-operated washer/dryer on site.  Boat and trailer parking is allowed.

Ponce de Leon Towers is a direct oceanfront complex with 62, 2 bedroom 2 bath condominium units with 8 floors.  Though Ponce de Leon Towers sits on the driving section of New Smyrna's white, sandy beach, this oceanfront complex is just 100 yards from the car-free beach.  Amenities include a seasonally heated pool, community room with pool table and ping pong table, shuffleboard courts, and bar-b-que area with gas grill.

Located in the heart of our friendly little beach town, Ponce de Leon Towers is only minutes from all that New Smyrna Beach has to offer.  This oceanfront complex is right next to the beautiful 27th Avenue Beachfront Park which is a 3.4-acre park including a boardwalk, basketball and racquetball courts, picnic area, pavilion, restrooms, and a children’s playground. Across the street is a 7-11 and a walk-up restaurant serving tacos and ice cream!  Within walking distance are Manny's Pizza and Chases on the Beach for oceanfront dining.  It is within minutes of a shopping center with a Dollar General with a grocery, gym, several tasty restaurants, and a beachwear outlet. 

The Canaveral National Seashore, one of the finest national seashore parks in the country, is only minutes away and offers a 57,000 acres national park nestled between the Atlantic Ocean and the Indian River.  It also features one of the longest stretches of pristine beaches in the United States.  It's a must-see!  There is a charge for entry.

Also within a short drive south is Bethune Park featuring a fishing pier, tennis, and basketball courts, beach volleyball court, and playground. Nearby JB's fish camp offers some of the best fresh seafood in town. Kayak rentals and paddle board tours are also available at JB's. 

Shopping and dining are a must while in New Smyrna Beach.  One-of-a-kind restaurants and boutiques can be found within a short drive or bike ride to  Flagler Avenue beachside as well as downtown Historic Canal Street across the bridge. 

Art galleries can be found throughout town making New Smyrna one of the best small art towns in the country.  

The Marine Discovery Center is nearby and has spent over 20 years informing guests about the amazing biodiversity of the Indian River Lagoon. They offer amazing boat and kayak tours as well as some great educational summer camps for kids.

History is rich in New Smyrna Beach with many historic sites as well as the New Smyrna Beach Museum, Sugar Mill Ruins, and the Eldora House at the Canaveral National Seashore.  All a must-see for history enthusiasts.  

For those looking to enjoy the water, New Smyrna Beach offers all types of water sports to enjoy. New Smyrna Beach is home to some of the best saltwater and freshwater fishing in the area.  Since New Smyrna Beach is located on a barrier island the Atlantic Ocean and the Indian River Lagoon make it an angler's dream come true.  Fishing charters are available and local captains are sure to put you on the fish.

Paddleboard and kayak rentals and tours are also available through several local vendors. They will provide those visiting the area with a first-hand look at the local wildlife such as manatees, dolphins, and pelicans!

Surfing in New Smyrna Beach is some of the best in Florida.  It has been recognized by National Geographic as "one of the world's top 20 surf towns" and offers some of the best swells on the east coast.  Surfboards can be rented at many of the local surf shops so grab a board and hit the water!
